I think you should do what the feminist lesbian community does in other countries such as NZ where my freind J.S. lives. There they ask a close male gay friend to "donate" for them and they literally use a turkey baster. It works out well and the child doesn't experience "genetic bewilderment" when they grow up, not knowing where half of their "self" comes from. Britain and Australia banned donor anonymity. They can always meet and talk to the freind of their mommies who donated the sperm. Openness makes for a child who is secure and comfortable in a family with no secrets.

"Donor registries" are now springing up: http://www.donorsiblingregistry.com/ and other children of sperm donations are launching campaigns to change the laws. Just like children who were victims of the closed adoption system, they want to find out what their medical history is and where their genetic traits come from.

I don't think that any sperm bank or fertility clinic can turn you away just because you are a gay couple. I listed a few websites with resources though.

WOW always love to see a fellow Christian make us look bad. If you have a loving, committed relationship I wish you the best of luck in your search. God Bless you.
