What did you think about it? I'm speaking of the black and white movie made back in the 1700's... well not that long ago but you know what I mean.

That is an awesome film. It's probably one of my favorites.

Freaks is not that old, but I have seen it. It was outrageous and controversial when it was released in the 1930's. People were screaming and passing out and getting sick in the theaters. Some tried to have it banned. It was a good movie, even by today's standards, and people should watch it. The point the movie was trying to make was that everyone needs love and even though some have deformities they are still human. Go to a web site that deals with circus side show freaks and you will find more references to the movie.

I thought it was great (what I saw of it, back in jr high, my dad took it back before i got to finish-then the video store got rid of it.) It was like the "freaks" were normal people on the inside, and the "normal people" were freaks on the inside. great movie, made me long for the days of ol' fashioned freak shows. (its not allowed anymore-people get offended. )

It was from 1932, directed by Tod Browning. It's dated, and makes me feel sorry for the people shown in the movie.

Yes, my friend's mom took us to a very seedy theater on Market St in SF when we were like 10. VERY disturbing, yet cool...
