I am Italian but it looks like France might win as they seem to be the best team...

England will not win the world cup they may have good players but so does every country that`s playing...Rooney is good but this is not the Premire League, 2 much pressure for him...They team that`s going to win is Germany 2-1 over Brazil

They are GOOD but not good enough and I'll tell you why. In all the games I have seen England play, they have lacked what I call "the look of a champion" The only teams I would consider who have this are GER, ARG and BRA. Plus it seems that they have such a hard time dealing with the temp. Also another fact, every game they have won has come in the last 20 min of play OR or lucky shots by Beckham. Again I say they will never win. Sorry.

Im scottish and i don't want enlgand to win the world cup (ever) and if they keep playing they way they are now they do not have a hope in hell. England have great players but do not have a clue how to use them. Lampard and Gerrad are both excellent but are too similar and cant play together and Gerrard(being the superior player) should be the only one selected. Not only that but if England were to build the team round gerrard then there are only three teams that i think would be ablem to match them (Namely Brazil, Argentina and Spain). Right now however i believe that their ridiculous long ball tactics and poor team selection would cause them to to be beaten by Holland, Portugal, France, Brazil, Argentina, Czech Republic, Italy and maybe even Mexico or Sweden.

but its not just the players that have to be good . the coach has the biggest mission in winning the cup.
a team like portugal it doesnt have lots of known players they are limited .ask yourself why do they keep winning cuz they have the best coach in the world.they have a X-large chance to win the world cup .even they didnt they could be one of the first 4th.

I am an England fan + optimist......... on one condition though: Rooney better start scoring goals at the very soonest (i.e against Sweden). And provided Ashley Cole & Co. keep their act together and not melt away like they did against Brazil in that fateful quarterfinal of 2002.
