Is it legal, as long as you are wearing non-thong underwear and a bra?

Just curious...because I was thinking of starting a National Walk Around In Your Underwear Day, if there is not one already. But I don't really feel like getting arrested and sent to Juvenile Hall.

Does anyone else think this would be funny??? I think it's hilarious... :-)

I mean, if people are allowed to walk around in bikinis, isn't underwear the same if not more conservative?

And to the guys who asked me for pictures--- let go of your genitals for a second and read. I am a MINOR. You don't want pictures, unless you're a pedophile...or unless you're a minor yourself.

I'm afraid you've been beaten to it. No Pants Day celebrates walking around in your underwear every May, particularly in Austin, TX for some reason... As for the legality, it's perfectly fine as long as your genitals are covered.

The thing here boils down to local ordinance and statutes...Technically as long as you are wearing something it is within legal limits under most regulations--but where you're going to run afoul of the law is this "local ordinance" and community standards statutes thing--oddly enough those quite often do not exist until some incident or issue comes up that forces the powers that be to create one to curtail some "UNDESIRABLE" behavior--also--another place they can come at you from---you know that you're going to create a stir---right ? Well when you do and the authorities come out--they have an option to incarcerate you for ---inciting public disturbance--creating a public hazard (don't think they wouldn't try it) and one of a dozen different public ludity citations---so --you better do your research into your local ordinances and statutes before attempting this for it is assured you will be talking to a police officer just as soon as great grandma whosit calls in with her heart all aflutter over the"very idea"---it would be good to know the law better than the people who come out--because that and that alone may be the key that keeps you out of the lock down-----OH--AND SEND ME A PICTURE LIKE RIGHT NOW----

Sounds great. I'm in my boxers right now and I go outdoors in them all the time sans a shirt- "toplesss" (I'm a guy). OK, My boxers are not white and they could be mistaken for shorts or maybe a swim suit. I dont tink I'd go to the grocery store or Mall tlike this, but around my hood its OK. So far no arrests for this offense. All it takes is one or 2 calls to the Police and you'd be "busted" (no pun intended). The law may see your stunt as being a disturbance. We had a Hot-Dog vendor tending to an outdoor Hot Dog Stand that wore a little bikini and was ordered to get out of business, too much distractions for the traffic conditions, etc. Hygenically speaking... it may be unsanitary too. I like your idea and if you look anything like your "picture" - I'd like to have a photo of you in your National Walk Around In Your Underwear Day Attire, Please? I will reciprocate with same, This applies only if you are of legal age to participate and a natural female with minimal cellulite and maximum of 200 pounds, dependin g on your height. P.S. I think it very funny too, Especially if some "walkers had tire tracks and PP stains too, of course mixed in with Gucci, Victorias Secret, A/F, Quiksilver (MINE), Perla, you know!!!

I think it's legal if the underclothing's not see through. I've wondered myself why it's socially o.k. to wear swimming garb, but not acceptable to wear regular underclothes. This can backfire though. Think of R O'donnel, or Rosanne Barr showing up with a slinky 2 piece bikini. (Guys, I'm thinking of women/bikinis, but trying to be diplomatic. I'd be for requiring guys NOT going out in any but full suits;-) )

I last heard that it isn't illegal to walk around with just your underwear, unless your intention is to be obscene or to seduce the public. You can do that as long as you don't do it in a perverted way...

This reminds me of Seinfeld and the bra lady. LOL! Great Episode! I do not care to see people walking down the street half naked. Nor do other people. Some perverts might.

As long as you are covered I don't see why it would be illegal. It doesn't sound like something I would participate it, but then that's because I wouldn't want to gross anyone out with my cellulite :p
