Everyone is different. Some women know the minute they conceive that they are pregnant. I, on the other hand, didnt figure it out until my period was about a month late! :) Also what stinks about it is that the symptoms of PMS and those of early pregnancy are often the same.

Although those are common symptoms of pregnancy, it could also just be a coincidence. I have 3 children and by the time I had my last child I knew right away but I think that is because I already had the first 2. Take a at home test and they tend to be pretty reliable. If you know for sure, I have heard of people that have had morning sickness from the day they found out until the day they delivered.

I like this question haha, I'm 34 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend gained a TON of weight. He's been eating like crazy since I've been pregnant. I'd be sleeping and wake up to use the bathroom at 1 in the morning, and he'd be sitting there eat while watching tv. haha. It's too funny. I haven't had ANY cravings, and believe it or not, i eat less now than before i was prgnant. i just dont have an appetite. but he sure has.

I found in early pregnancy that i tended to alternate days when i felt awful and days when i felt normal again.

I found getting a good sports bra helped as it is surprising how early on in pregnancy that your breasts can feel huge and sore - the support really helps.

being hungry - lucky you! i was sick a fair amount and felt sick all of the time. getting food down me was a major task so i ended up losing 14 lbs or so throughout my pregnancy instead of the usual gain.

let your body tell you what it needs - more rest, different kinds and amounts of food, and passing water more often are just ways of the body adjusting to your new status

congratulations BTW!

Myself, it may have been psychological but as soon as I found out I was pregnant, right after a missed period I was pretty much living in bed or on the couch or in the bathroom for the next 4 months. Try planning a wedding like that and making your own wedding dress. I still can't believe I actually did all that myself.

NO... everyday is a different day in thee wonderful world of pregnancy. I (mother of 1 boy), personally, never experienced the infamous 'morning sickness'. However, my cousin (who had a girl) had to wear a surgical mask because every scent and aroma made her vomit. My best friend, pregnant with her second son, didn't even know she was pregnant the first time until month 6. She didn't start showing until the end of the 6th month...

Everyone and everyday is different. As life grows inside of you, it's needs change daily, so your 'symptoms' are subject to change. This is only preparation for reality after the baby is born if you ask me! (ha ha) But here are somethings that will help you deal with the onslaught of physical, mental, and emotional changes:

- keeping a journal/ blog of daily changes
- eating frozen/ fresh fruits and veggies vs. canned*
- drinking plenty of water*
- staying as active as you can (pregnancy is not a handicap)*
- taking pre-natal vitamins for deficiency and energy*

This is a very exciting time in your life!!! ENJOY IT! And best wishes!!!

*Note: these are things my ob/gyn suggested during my pregnancy that worked for me. please don't subsitute this for medical advice from your own physician. Ask, research, learn, and enjoy!

Not always. Tender breasts and having to pee a lot, along with the nausea, are going to be your initial symptoms. These are going to come and go...some days are going to be worse than others. Some days you are going to "feel" pregnant, and other days you just aren't.
