Try to ask him questions like:
1. Would you rather be with a man or woman?
2. What turns you on more: the site of man shirtless or a woman in her underwear?
3. Does your fantasy typically includes a man or a woman?

For one thing, never mention names! And its ok if he is unsure about his sexuality. Depending on his age, if he's young that's especially natural. And remember, except him either way.
