Bigger is always better even when it comes to moving trucks.
Just like everything else this rule of thumb also applies to space in a moving truck:
It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

I moved alot more then you have in a 16 foot truck, so it will work. Maybe you need a slightly smaller one. The key to the size of truck is how good you can pack it. By stacking boxes on each other and putting things on the seats of sofa and loveseat you will need less room.

I have found that there is very little difference in price between the medium size trucks and the largest. It always seems like I need more truck than I thought I would so I just go ahead and rent the largest--24' or 26' with most of the companies. Worst case you won't have to stack the boxes so high. You just have to be a little more careful driving it.

Usually they rate moving truck sizes according to standard housing sizes: a 10' truck apartment, 14' truck 1-2 bedrooms , 17' truck 2-3 bedrooms, 24' truck 3-4 bedrooms, 26' truck 4-5 bedrooms.if I were you i'd go with the 16 or 17 footer, the size depending on what company you go through.

Its also depends on how far away you are moving. If its just across town and you can stand to make two or three trips, go with a smaller truck.
Otherwise its all in how well you can pack. If your traveling across the country, get a slightly bigger truck so you have room to shift things around should you need to rearrange things or need a specific something in a box that got pack near the front.

I moved alot more effective then you actually have in a 16 foot truck, so it is going to paintings. perchance you pick a somewhat smaller one. the most to the scale of truck is how good you are able to %. it. through stacking bins on one yet another and putting issues on the seats of settee and loveseat you'll pick a lot less room.

I think 16' is ok, but measure the items before you make a decision.
