What gauge is the barbell that you get ur tongue pierced with?

The girl above had it right - 12 or 14. Remember, the bigger then number the smaller the gauge.
You should also try to buy only internally threaded barbells. That means the ball screws INTO the bar. It is a lot easy for balls that screw over the bar to come loose. That's what I've read anyway and I've always purchased internally threaded barbells and have NEVER had a problem with them coming loose.

to the first guys answer... some of us do know that stuff. some of us may work at a shop piercing things, and others may know from experiance, that's why she is asking. However, I am not one of those people, and Im not sure of your answer.

got mine done with a 12 gauge...standardly they do 14 whhich is smaller...enjoy
