i can't find my yahoo im archives! how do i do so and or how do i start one?

i had a yahoo group , communication with one of my contacts and he asked me to e mail him the contents of our little wrestling match, i pasted it and sent it, but he didn't recieve it! and asked me if it were in my archives to pull up!!

Click on the word messenger at the top left, then click preferences, then click on the option you want and finish by clicking on ok. Unfortunately I don't think it will bring up any IM you did previous to that. I just figured that out a few hours ago.
