Soccer games have 2 periods of time. Each period has 45 minutes. The numbers in parantheses mean the time.

The numbers in parenthesis, means how the score enden in the first half.
I hope this will help you understand the score:

One of the teams is asign as the home team and the other as visitng team.
The score of the game is display x : y, where :
*The first number (in this case x) reference the home team score,
* : is used to separate the score
* The second number (in this case y) reference the visiting team score

So with this in mind, we have that 3:2 and 2:3 have diferent meaning, but both of them refers 5 goals
3:2 means 3 goals for the home team and 2 goals for the visiting team (home team won)
2:3 means 2 goals for the home team and 3 goals for the visiting team (home team lost)

The score 1:1 (1:0), means
* 1:1 The final score was 1 goal for the home team and 1 goal for the visitng team
* (1:0), show how the score was at the end of the first half time: 1 goal for the home team and 0 goal for the visiting team.

It can also mean 1st leg and 2nd leg score. (think of it as game one and two), the scores of both matches are added together.

Say for example game one ends 1-1 and then the score in game 2 is 2-0 it'll appear like this 2-0 (3-1).

Those are the result at half time. The whole match consists of 90 minutes of play with a 15 minute interval after the first 45 mins. The result at half time is indicated within the parenthesis.

I thought it meant that the game finished 1-1, and then in the shoot out the teams went 1-0 and there's a team won in the shoot out. 1-1 After full time and then one successful penalty kick to win.
