This past week I was in a Japanese restaurant. I had fried ice cream (ginger flavor). It was absolutely out of this world!! It's ice cream in the middle of a cake batter that is fried. Crunchy on the outside, cold on the inside. I'm not sure if it's a Japanese standard dish or not, but the owner said the ice cream was from Japan. If you ever see it, try it. EXCELLENT!!
