why is this web sight such a strange addiction?

I'm in a band and I find the site extremely good as an online portal. I believe the music side of the site is what makes it stand out from all the other networking sites out there. It's free for any band to create their profile page and upload photos and songs, which is incredible really.
Other than keeping friends, both new and old, informed of gigs and stuff, I don't use the site for much else. Have a peek at www.myspace.com/azaidou if you fancy it!

i think it's all about attention. Myspace is for young ppl ages 14-25 and it's just an attention game.
some ppl use it to keep in touch with friends or look for old friends or make new friends. however what ppl most wanna do on myspace is that they wanna show off their cool pics and blogs to the world.
they think they are good looking and attractive so they wanna show how cool they are and want friends request from lots of other cool ppl especially the opposite sex.

Its addicting because its a way of expressing to others who you are, who you know, and how many friends you have without telling them.

For me, it makes it easier to keep in touch with friends. I also found several friends that I had lost contact with. It is also a really great way to meet people that you normally ever get to meet.

well i think its because on that site u can do wat u want 2 do and be who u want 2 be and dont even realize how good it feels to hav sumthing that u want and its perfect and u dont pay attention to wat is happening in the world because u feel so good abt being hoo u want to b on that site nothing else matters
