what i want is when i play a song i want to see the front cover photo on the ipod

Find the photo of the album art on Amazon or the bands/ musicans/ fans website, and right click the song(s) you want this album art on. Select Get Info and paste (right-click, paste) the picture in Artwork section. Press OK.
However, you are only able to view the album art on the 4G (Photo), 5G (video) and Nano iPod's...

Just push the center button until the screen shows the album picture. If you got a new iPod you can even see the lyrics if you continue pushing the button. For this, the album cover must be part of the song file you want to listen. If it is a song you bought, that should not be a problem cause it should be embedded. If you downloaded or ripped the song... you'll probably have to get the cover picture so you can add it to your file.
