Is nothing sacred? Please please please tell me that they're not going to remake that movie. I loved this movie as a kid, and I would really hate to see someone butcher it.

i hope not. they need to leave a classic movie like never ending story alone. jackson screwwed up king kong and now this! he is just proving for every lord of the rings cgi movie that is done right there are 25 that the cgi ruins the movie!!

I LOVED that movie when i was a kid. I actually own it on DVD. I would think Peter Jackson, since he's obviously good with those types of movies.

Peter Jackson seems to have a great eye for fantasy, perhaps he would be just perfect for the job.
