The most common problems with relationships I've seen on here is lack of communication. Are there any couples that actually do talk and sit down together and work through lifes problems? Or have we forgotten how to talk to our spouse?

or boyfriend girlfriend
but me and my boyfriend talk about everything together
hes not just my boyfriend, hes my best friend.

My women and I will be together 17 years this June. We have a very open and honest communication. We hold nothing back from each other. We don'rt argue or fight over anything. Except who holds the remote for the TV. LOL. We have never married either. It just never came up really. She don't want to get married anyway. I'm the one who does. isn't that a switch. Good communication is KEY to having a successful relationship. I am a very lucky man to have her. And I count my lucky stars that I do. I love, appreciate, and respect her. She is a great women.

Well I must be a minority because my wife and I talk about everything and we communicate just fine. Getting close to 30 years and very proud of it.
I think a lot of it is folks are so busy and both of them work and have jobs and then there's the kids. This society has put a lot of stress on marriages. Then again, you have people that don't want to take their marriage vows seriously and want to mess around on the side.
I say to those folks, they need to grow up and honor their committment they made to their spouse whether it is male or female.

i think we have forgotten to talk. me and my boyfriend have been together 4 years and if were upset about anything we dont talk maybe an aggitated responce of nothings wrong im fine. but other than that we just let things go till later or the next day when the other person isnt mad or upset anymore

Honestly? Although I love my husband we don't communicate very well. I guess you could say that we look at things from different sides.

That is one problem i have always had in my past relationships, but my present one, we always talk about our problems and i feel that many people needs to talk about their problems then to walk.

i communicate with mine till it leads into a fight then we are usually pissed off at one another until we make up
