I've been with this boy for two years and I have told him that I love him and he feels the same way, but I'm still in high school. He has planned out our future together and that's cool and everything but what if somebody else comes along and sweep me off my feet like he did? Please Help. Thanks

Unless this boyfriend has a diamond ring on the third finger of your left hand or is paying your bills and living with you don't go steady. It is sad to belong to someone else when the right one comes along. Get out there and be young and free to meet other people. If it is meant to be it will happen. Love is not chaining a soul.

Please think of it this way! This is what my dad always told me!

I have a gift... a very special gift! I can only give this gift away to one person one time! I can not take it back... and I will NEVER forget it!

If you have any doubt... even the smallest doubt DON'T DO IT!

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 5 years now... and I am 21... he has been my one and will be my only... I am VERY proud to tell that to anyone... But are people proud when they start saying I didn't have just one... I've had 10... 20... 60....?!

I would recommend to any young person still in highschool not to get too serious with anyone at this age. I gave my highschool "love of my life" my all and now I regret it. I gave so much of myself to this person that it really scarred me in my future relationships. By giving so much of myself when I was so young and vulnerable it made me scared to give too much of myself to the person who really deserved it. I had my heart ripped to shreds by my boyfriend in highschool so I did not want to get too close to anyone when I got old enough to really know what love and relationships were all about. You are young and you should be enjoying every single aspect of being young and free. Experience dating other guys. I know you feel like you love this guy, but don't give him everything. Chances of you actually going through college and still being with this guy and getting married are slim to none. What would you do if someone else came along and you were "tied down" to this guy. I know alot of people will not agree with me, but I am alot older than highschool age teens and I have been there done that. If I could go back and re-do my past I would still date my ex, but I would not have opened myself up to all the hurt at such a young age and I certainly wouldn't have given that realtionship my all. My husband had alot of walls to tear down before he got to my heart and I blame it on being in such a serious relationship so young. Be young and crazy....remember, you are only young once!!!!!!

You already know that things are moving a little fast. I can see that you understand that. Let him know that you are still young and the future hasn't been written out for you yet. That you don't want your life pre planned... it leaves little room for spontanious fun.

your young theirs so much you may want to do that he may not want to. travel places to live. and your still in high school you haven even met enough people yet. but some people get married out of high school it seldom lasts though. i got in a realationship in high school and didnt get to do half the stuff i wished i could have. im 24 now and divorced because we changed and grew apart. you change so much after high school its not a good idea to commit
