It had some funny moments, but no Napoleon Dynamite....a renter...maybe...

I thought it was hilarious! The film was a great mix between Napoleon Dynamite, Monty Python, and Mel Brooks. It is the kind of movie that you laugh out loud at and the kind of movie that the whole audience reacts to with expressions of pain, happiness, and pure empathy for Jack Black's character. Almost the whole movie is quotable. Very fun.

It was confusing just like "Napoleon Dynamite", yet Jack Black somehow made the movie shine. I will admit it is not for everyone, so you will either come out of the movie either loving it or hating it! Just enjoy and don't expect too much. Director Jared Hess is gold.

referring to meghan_lauren up there ^ it actually WAS done by the same people that brought us the amazing movie that was...napolean dynamite.
(note the heavy sarcasm)
i think this movie would be good if your looking for some mindless fun and laughs...but on the other hand jack black does tend to have overboard acting and this could end up being a TOTAL waste of time...

ITS Nacho Libre! My friend went to see it yesterday and said it was not funny and that it was really stupid. And she's a HUGE Jack Black fan!

There were some funny bits, but when they mugged for the camera I hated it.

i didnt see it, but my sister did yesterday and she said it was awesome.
she said it was kind of like napolean dynamite, but actually had a point to it, where ND didnt.
