Me to, I would choose Natasha or Maria, they are creative and not very common! I think first name should be Natasha, Middle Maria. That is better. But, it is your choice!!!

The surname is given by parents and may change later by a husband, so if you picked the first name, then why not have the father pick the middle name?
That way everyone's had a contribution, and with that comes interest and care -- heck, why limit things, add another name or two, chosen by relatives or friends (or chosen by parents but named after certain relatives or friends) -- perhaps "godparents" or the hip newage post-Christian version of that.
Believe me, when people have a child named after them or when they get a chance to suggest names -- you are giving your offspring untold future treasures.
Bannish the thought, but -- well, you know what people are like -- could it just be possible that by chosing the names all by yourself, or by chosing those names or even in chosing those names over other names... that people might resent you or even resent and harbour a grudge against the child?
Hmmm, maybe it IS worth thinking about letting the father pick or having additional names to offset and outweigh any negatives -- including unknown negatives!
Hee, you certainly like the Hispanic/Italian idea of ending girls' names with the vowel "a" -- maybe you would add the vowel "o" the child was a boy? This is the norm. in countries where the last name seldom if ever begins with a vowel.
Why end every name in a vowel? What if she marries and wants to take her husband's family name and it begins with an "a"?
A name can affect your child's schooling, and society's expectations. You have picked a good old fashioned Jewish first name (or old testament Christian name). Maria is Italian for Mary -- the mother of Jesus, and another good Christian/ Jewish name. Most people will know Natasha as the baby of Sesame Street's Ingrid and Humphrey, which is cute. But it is Russian/ Greek for being born at Christmas -- like Natalie, Christine, etc. -- which tips the scales toward Christianity rather than Judaism, any other religion or secularism.
In France they just join up names by using a hyphen, and it doesn't seem to bother them if it's a girly name either -- Jean-Marie, Marie-Claude, Pierre-Claire and so forth!

Hi! I just answered another question you had regarding another matter and I wanted to see who were so I went to you home page. Hope you don't mind the intrusion, but I guess that is why it is there. I have a daughter named Rebekah Ruth(Biblical spelling), as well as five other daughters, none others with the named Rebekah or its variants, like the boxer /Meinkie Muffler guy (or is it Midas) and his kids all named the same. (forget his name) So, yes I like the name. The middle name, not so well, but hey, I’m not the father…….. Am I? Just kidding. For our third daughter, my wife and I liked the names Karin and Leah and were undecided up until the end, and in a moment of ‘inspiration’ (?) I came up with the combined name Caleah. Which has slowly gained in popularity through the many years. (26) I think it is 49,988 on the list of 50,000 most popular girls’ names of 2006 ! By the way, her middle name is Rael. Pronounced Ray-el. Don't ask! So maybe experiment with combining NatashaMaria into something unique. Nataria or Marasha (not Marsha, too plain and I was dated a girl...wel,l never mind. ) or whatever. Have fun, Blessings to you and your new child in Messiah, Grace, Mike ....(Grace is a nice name, too)!

Nastasha and Maria don't necessarily have to be one name. You can have as many middle names as you like. My grandmother was called Christina Hannah Norah Elizabeth, and that's three middle names.
Both Natasha and Maria are good strong names, so whether you blend them into one, or decide to make it two middle names, your daughter is blessed with an entirely lovely name.
