yes, our thought processess, experiences, beliefs, emotions, knowledge base, education, training, and personalities all affect how we interpret and understand the world we live in, for example hypothetically: you and I can have the same exact day and I will understand that I just had a great day ,you will understand you had a crappy one, I will apply everything I learned to everything I know and you wil disregard and dismiss others as idiots, my understanding will be limited , your's will be on a deeper more comprehensive level,
understanding is relative

For me there is...Sometimes I come across questions and answers on this site which have me boggled...but truly understanding anything requires looking beyond the veil and getting "in tune" with all that is around you. When we remove those blockages or mental blocks or our perceptions of how we think things are supposed to be, then our level of understanding can be boundless, infinite.

Absolutely. I think our understanding and knowledge of the universe is far more limited than we would like to think. How
much do we really know?

One can only answer a question with the knowledge base they have within. Ex. White people naively think there is no more racism(ethnic separation, prejudice). Black people live it daily.
All the other ethnic groups try to hope they can fit in to an acceptable area. And God just shakes His (yes, His) head in dismay.

we usually understand only what we want to understand... or what interest us. it is said i dont use our brains to the fullest ability... so we have yet to reach our limit. i think if we surpass our limit..we border or enter mental illness. like a brain overload.

Of course! All animals have limits to their understanding.
Just like you can't teach quantum physics to a chimpanzee, no matter how smart it is or how hard it tries.
We are no different.
