Well i know that oppossums have 50 teeth and they are relatives of the possum... actually i think they are the same thing lol.

A possum has about 50 teeth. They WILL bite you if they are cornered. However, once the possum reaches the age of 80, usually they wear dentures.

Possums have about 50 teeth and they are extremely sharp! Don't ever touch one! Stay clear.

don't know but looking in ones mouth it looks like a thousand or so :-)
