I have played soccer my entire life and keep up on the statistics of many of the players. Beckham is just a pretty face for the press who sometimes crosses the ball.

he is over-rated, but he does have some skill. he is starting to get older, and should think about retiring in the near future before the younger and more skilled players (C. Ronaldo, F. Torres, Robinho) make him look even more like the rubbish bin that he is. all he has going for him now is a pretty face, a good cross, and luck.

Boy is that all you can come up with...This has been a subject for too many years...this world cup David is playing Great..his job is to set up the balls and in both winning games he has done exactly that...and yes David Beckham is Hansom and is getting better with age.....can you come up with another pretty face name???

I for one and many do not think beckham is over rated,he is a world class football player,you happens to be one of the best,he does not fluant this status,he is rather humble,you just dont no him or you would not be asking this queation,i also doubt your knowledge of football,again you would not be asking this question,learn about football and beckham and take back your question

Is he that blonde guy that is going out with one of the spice girls or had at one time at least.....I'm going to be honest I don't see what the big deal is about him. I think he is somewhat of a flewsey and not at all that attractive. If I saw him on the street I wouldn't look twice at him, or even once for that matter.

Finally someone that agrees with me. He's by far the most over rated i've watched play. He very good on set plays, but he can't run and can't dribble past anyone.

I went to a match and he played, Man U...
After the game when he was getting snapped by the press etc I couldn't get his face so I shouted "Hey David, smile for the camera!"
He sure did that! Boy, he is gorgeous!!!!

He is over rated ....most women that would state he is a doll don't even take the game serious ....and probably don't even know what is going on ...but just have stupid fantasies about him ...personally I don't think he is thta good looking either

I don't watch soccer but he probably is. The media picks and chooses who they want in the spotlight and right now it's on him.
