I can't have just one. There are several that make the list.

First would be Rush 2112 side one. Then Cygnus X1 and Cygnus X1 Book 2.

Second would be Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Third would be Funeral For A Friend / Love Lies Bleeding by Sir Elton John.

Fourth and certainly not least would be Lucky Man by Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

The song I want played during my funeral is....

I'll Fly Away - Third Day

I have also shared with a few friends that after the ceremony I want them to have a party. I've told my best friend I will be sure to have a whole list of instructions before that time comes. :D

The Ships of Heaven by Blachawk. It was written by the member Van Stephenson knowing he was dying, although he was getting better he had cancer and as we know that can come back at any time. It was on their Greatest Hits and pretty much is how I feel. Don't cry for me when I'm gone/Keep the faith and be strong
basically the song is about be happy for me I'll be sailing on the Ships of Heaven. Why should people be sad for me when I die? After all I'm dead what is so bad for ME about that.

The hymn, In The Garden...because I fell in love with it when I was a child attending the Methodist church with my parents and family. I also love Onward Christian Soldiers. It's the first hymn I learned to play on the piano when I was 11.
