About 11 million died. When do you consider the Holocaust as starting? If we say it started in November 1939 and continued into May 1945 we get about 2000 days. That works out to about 5500 a day.

I do not know how many all I know that 2 of my friends were taken out of school (in occupied Belgium) and we never saw them again. They were part of the atrocity and I can still remember this after all these years.
