With the hood open, standing in front of the car, the power steering reservoir is located at the front of the engine slightly to your right. You will recognize it because it has a belt attached to the pulley on the front of it. The reservoir is on the top of the engine.
The top has a type of flat sided screw that people invariably over tighten. Use a pair of pliers to open it if it is past finger tight.
Remember not to overfill and if you have a leak it is best to have it fixed as the pump is an expensive item.
Slight leaks are nothing to worry about but keep an eye on them. Tell your mechanic to look for a loose fitting or leak during the next oil change.
