Okay I asked this girl out the last day of school because I felt that it was the right time and she said that she didn't know if I was her type and she didn't know if she wanted a boyfriend and that she thinks we are better off friends but I still have feelings for her like I still want to date her and people keep on telling me to keep trying and i dont know if I should should I? or should I just keep away from her until I get over her? also her friend wanted to hook us up for a month and until I asked her out she thought it was a good idea then all the sudden she said dont ask her out did she just want to see me make an *** out of myself? i dont understand women lol well if anyone out there has advice please let me know thanks a lot!!!!!!!

So do want to just go out with her or do you want to be her friend, too.
Be her friend withthe intention of being just a friend.
If she still will not go out with you, then move on, there is someone out there who probably feels for you how you feel for her and you just don't know it. There are plenty of other girls if she doesn't come around.
Maybe she's shy. Maybe your friend knows something you don't.
As long as you obsess over her and she doesn't recirocate the feeling then you are wasting precious time that could be spent in better and more productive ways.
And if a girl does like you and you are wearing blinders, then you may miss out on a real love.
Ask yourself why you like this girl so much and that may give you some insight into your own personality. Maybe you don't ike her like you think you do maybe you just admire her alot.

If it doesn't work out and you still like her, with time and positive thinking and don't put yourself down about it you can still be happy in future.
It's not wrong to still have a crush. You are not hurting her. If it cause you pain to have this crush then you should do your best not to have a crush on her anymore.
Maybe you can still be friends though? maybe... You can't force someone to like you back. It's okay to like someone who doesn't like you back.

I agree with cupiddimples. My two cents is: Give her space and time. If she decides latter that she likes you, than great! But if she doesn't, you need to decide if you can be around her just as her friend. When you can mentally and emotionally handle that, then say "Ok, lets be friends." Then just hang out with her. Once you get past this point, a good way to show that you're her friend and not trying to be anything else is to ask her who she likes. Then help her find out if he likes her and/or if he will go out with her. Give her help and suggestions of what to do to attract guys. I've always found that info VERY helpful.

I think its ok that you still have feelings for her, it may take awhile to get over a crush like that. it probably hasn't even been 2 weeks yet. Worry if you're still in love with the same girl after 9 months of her turning you down over and over again. ^_~
However, she definately said no so it is time to start moving on.

you should just stay away from the girl you asked out and she'll probably end up liking you if you get over her or not either way it works out for you and the friend probably likes you because i remember when i liked this one guy he liked a friend of mine and i knew she would say no if he asked her out because she knew i liked him so i kept telling him ask her out i figured once she rejected him he would turn to me.

One thing I cannot stand is when my "friends" dictate my life. Don't listen to her friend. Ask her. I would rather make an *** out of myself and say that I tried than to say...oh well what would have happened if I had.
