Well what always works for me is if I close my eyes and imagine a watermelon as best I can. Think of the shiny black seeds, its pink juices soaking the paper plate, everything about it! Try it!!

I have found that the best way to get rid of hiccups is this: fill a cup 1/2 way with water and put a spoon in the cup....Take sips of the water while holding the handle of the spoon against your temple being careful to leave the spoon end in the water while you drink...I swear by this!

To get rid of hiccups hold your breath until hiccups stop, if that doesn't work, drink water nonstop until hiccups stop.

Ok.. first I know this sounds very stupid, but I swear by it.. it does work. You will need help from another person. Get about 12oz of water. Hold your nose as the other person holds your ears shut then drink the water without stopping all at the same time. I don't know why this works but it does.

This actually works: take a sip of water and hold it in your mouth and bend your head down between your legs while standing so that your head is upside down. Swallow the water and they should be gone. Do it more than 1 time if necessary.

Different stuff works for different people, some real common cures are drinking water and holding your breath. Just don't hold you breath too long....
