Avatars are not a must for me. I only give answers questions worth answering and only when I have something good to say about the question.
Avatar is just bonus. It don't show the actual appearance of the persons anyway.

no, just click on other peole avatars and you will find recurring words or themes that catch their attention and learn the type of questions certain people are compelled to answer, my buttons are ususally, things involving racism,aetheists and sex, I strongly oppose closedminded hatred and sometimes asking an ignorant question is the way to gwet my attention, just depends on my mood,avatars are not part of my decision to answer a question

on purpose? probably not. But the eye most likely is more attracted to colors and pictures, diverting it away from those without avatars
