No. I have 4 kids and haven't ever been asked that at any of my appointments.

No.

They do ask if you've ever had any STD's and which ones.

They do ask how many times you've been pregnant, and what happened with those pregnancys.

And they do ask a lot of questions about your medical history, the fathers medical history, and both of your families medical histories.

They give you a full physical, pap test, std test, and a blood test (to see if your immunizations are up to date, to check for HIV, syphillis, RH factor, hepatitis etc)

and you pee in a cup! (they didn't tell me i'd have to, so when i went in i couldn't pee!) so be prepared!

It depends where you go. The free clinic definitely will. They will ask if you are w/ 1 partner...If there are mulitples, they ask so that you can be tested for diseases that could hurt the baby. All you would have to say is there was more than 1 in that time frame (if that is the case).

Yes, they should. The Dr.'s try to find out your entire history so that they can best treat you and the unborn child. You should always be honest with your Dr. because they are trying to do what is best.

They should. It helps determine the propensity for disease and the risk to you and the infant.

But you should really have your tubes tied and not have children at all. They are particularly useless.

No, they don't ask that question. They will ask how many times you have been pregnant. And don't lie either, they will know...

My doctor didn't, but they are all different. That is an odd question to ask though.

they asked me with both kids. I think in part it has to do with family med history also.
