Our earlier anscestors would have developed a way to hunt them and their numbers would be contained and controllable. Our earlier anscestors successfully hunted many big game, up to hairy mammoths, most of which are now exinct. There is some speculation about how much our predation upon these creatures contributed to their extinction. About the time that man first came to America, the mega-fauna (giant animals) started going extinct. About the time that man first came to Australia, the mega-fauna started going extinct. If dinosaurs were still alive today, I'd bet that they would be an endangered species.

Oh, if only there were a well researched book by a respected scientific author on this subject ... some sort of book where they recreate dinosaurs from, say, the Jurasic era ... and they tried to keep them in some kind of park, a Jurasic park ... and if only they made the book into a movie ... with Jeff Goldblum ... and Wayne Knight from Seinfeld. Then we'd really know the answer to your question.

Everything would be just fine, though there would be some initial excitement. We could make a zoo of sorts, on an island in the ocean, call it Jurassic Park or something.

Nothing would really happen to us. A person may be killed here and there by one, but we humans would hunt them like any other animal and eventually kill most of them off. A few, I'm sure, would be kept in some form of captivity.
