Does anyone know if there was ever a children's movie titled Serendipity based off of the book by Robin James and Stephen Cosgrove? I seem to remember years ago when I was a small child a movie with a creature much like the one from the book.

Thanks everyone! I'm a bit sad that I might never see it again. :(

If i recall, it was a cartoon about a young boy who falls off a ship and ends up on an island where he meets a pink sea monster. The sea monster's name was Serendipity. To be honest, I am not sure if it was a movie or a failed television series.

The only Serendipity I know of is that chick flick with Kate Beckingsale(sp?) and John Cusack.
