Where on the web can I find out what team America's remaining requirements are for advancing into the semi-finals? I think that if Czeck beats Italy in the upcoming match, the Americans are done for. How do I find out if this is true?

US needs to beat Ghana and have Italy beating Czech Republic.
This way, Italy will have 7 points, US 4, Ghana 3 and Czech 3.
If they beat Ghana and the other game is a tie, US ties the Czechs with 4 but, in that case, they are likely to be out, for having allowed 3 goals from the Czechs. They would only advance if they beat Ghana by 5 or more goals, then.
The same, if they beat Ghana and the Czechs beats Italy, but in that case, they would be tied with Italy, with 4 points.
If US does not beat Ghana, they are out.

The United States has to beat Ghana on Thursday to stay in the tournament. If they falter and even tie, they're out of the tournament. Also, If the US wins, they need Italy to win too. If the C. Republic wins, than it'll be a tie between Italy and the United States. Then they will go to see who has scored the most goals (right now - italy has) Its really complicated, but The US needs to focus on how they are going to beat Ghana.

Here's their obsticles
They're currently in the 'Vorrunde' meaning 32 teams in 8 groups (they're in group E). After this round there's only 16 teams left.
Next round is called 'Achtelfinale'. Who you gonna get to play here depends on how many goals you achieved in the 'Vorrunde'.
After this there's 8 teams left ('Viertelfinale') that have to make their way into the semi-finals ('Halbfinale').
And finally they finals....
So if they really make it on Thursday (last day in the Vorrunde for their group) they should think about how to survive a bit longer in the World Cup....

What the u.s, team needs to advance is a better team all round,a better coach,and more skilled players that were not selected fot the world cup teamm,most of the teams plays dor the weaker teams in europe,that should yell you something,lets get realalistic the u.s. team just can not compete in world cup football,they were very lucky to get there

they wont go straight to semi's next, quarters are first.
BUT.. USA needs to beat Ghana, a shut-out would help. then, italy needs to beat czech, also..by a lot would help
if that happens, we SHOULD move on, depending on the final scores...dont kno where u can find it on the web though..

even if they qualify from their group (which they wont) there is still the second round and the quarter-final games that they will need to win (which they wont) in order ro get to the semis
This question could ahve been easily answered with two words 'a miracle'

They will have to beat Ghana first.Even if they do, they won't survive the 2nd round.
