How much time spent on YA do you spend asking and answering vs reading questions and responses? Do you often, like me, get caught up in checking others profiles and wind up in totally different areas?

I am interested in helping people too, but sometimes you will see a certain answer that is either great or totally terrible and wonder about that person and be curious to see their other answers or questions of theirs.

I am new at this, but find it a blast to help others. At 65, and having worked in different areas, particularly the mental health fields, I sometimes can offer intelligent feedback. The problem is that I'm very tempted to answer some funny, stupid questions with a smartass, funny answer. I'm trying to control myself. I am not your typical 65 year old. I think I'm addicted to this.

I have found YA to be a little addictive. I want to try and help if I can. I don't really look at profiles. I will look through various categories to see if there are any questions I might be able to answer. If I think I can add to the answer I'll type a few words. I spend about a hour a day.

I only ask a question to see others peoples views are around the world, it is interested to see what other people think, yes some of them people just write the first thing that comes into theire head and it makes no sense, but ther are people do think about the question and give a very valid point, you just need to know what you know is true and sometimes share that with someone else.

Ya I sometimes check up on other profiles and answer some of the older questions. I don't keep track of my time spent answering questions but I usually do this while I eat my supper and then in the morning when l eat my breakfast. Or any time I'm home and bored l'm here.

I do the same thing, but I love getting an understanding of how the masses think. I also like to see how the Europeans think as a mass. But man am I tired of seeing "I Hate Americans" propaganda all over the bulletin boards. Most of these people have never been here, but are the first ones in line at an American Movie release in their own countries while American Hip-Hop blasts in there headphones. It is total hypocrisy.

I enjoy answering questions. I like to help people. I do talk to other people though if I really want to.

I personally don't. I could answer questions for hours ... mainly because I'm at work and it is d-e-a-d today. :)
I've gotten stuck on profiles and such on other sites, just not on this one ... yet. :)
Take care!
