because lots of things, first qualifications to the cup takes 1 and a half year, it cant be less because of the leagues of soccer, then there is the Eurocup, Copa America, Afrika cup (that is like the world cup but between teams of their own continent), players deserve a little bit of vacations between seasons, they need to find new players, it costs a lot to organize a world cup, make stadiums, get police, renew Hotels, etc
World cup isnt a easy stuff

I really don't know the real reason, but here I go...we (I'm German) have the European Cup every for years, too, so everythings alternating...this year World Cup, next year nothing, the year after that EuroCup, they year after that nothing again...just to keep people here entertained lol I really dunno..just a thought

It gives the team two years of practicing and finding new
and better players and they other two years the teams go around playin other countries the countries that win most games come to the WORLD CUP.
