Internet question?????

Everybody tells me how great the internet is, but they don't explain me how to connect to it....What is the internet, by the way? Is it as great as people tell me it is? How can I connect to the internet?

It is a way for computers to be connected, plus you can get all sorts of cool stuff on it, you wan't an internet connection, you can get a cheap one off AT&T and Yahoo! for $14.99 I think

Put down your teddy bear and turn on the computer(mechanical thinky doohickey) take the thing that looks like a mouse(it just LOOKS like a mouse) it moves the arrow on the screen. Rest for a minute.......ok now put the arrow on the "E" and press the mouse thing(it will make a clicking noise, that's a good thing) you should now be on the Internet.
