I think Cingular is a good one. Check your phone..if it has a removeable sim card then check the carriers that are compatable with your phone and I think you can have it activated with a new sim card.

Me and my older sis use Virgin Mobile. They have pay as you go cards that are worth $15, $25, and $50. My sis has this Nokia phone: http://www.sweepdeal.com/walmart/items/images/0083618200150_500X500.jpg

Virgin is pretty good cuz there are no catches and the service isn't so bad. It's marketed toward teens, so the prices are pretty good. It's cheaper than paying $0.25 for the payphone. Sometimes the connection kinda sucks, esp. when you have a cell phone signal block on your school, but that's pretty rare.

You could go and buy a tracfone. A tracfone is one of those that you pay as you go. You have to buy minutes for your phone i think its every month or longer. But the bad side is the minutes are kinda on the high side. I could buy a 100 minute phone card for about $30.00. There are phone cards with 400 minutes but I'm not to sure what they cost. They also have coupons that i used to get to my email that would give me like 40 Free minutes if i bought a certain phone card too. The following website will give you some more information on tracfones.
