I was offered a job in a marketing field at a restaurant that I work for part-time. I go to college where I am a history major and really have no experience in the marketing field. With my history backround, would it give me more of an advantage in trying to get a higher salary? Thank you!

It is going to vary pretty widely based on experience and location. You can find the appropriate range for you at salary.com -
http://www.salary.com/home/layoutscripts/homl_display.asp

search by job "marketing" and your zip code for the range in your area.

Hope this helps!
