What's the name of the movie about the Battalion of St Patrick (fought in the U.S.-Mexico War) ?

These were Irish U.S. Soldiers who defected and ended up fighting with the Mexicans because they had Catholicsm in common.

I have forgotten the name of the movie but they left the US to fight for the mexicans mainly because of discrimination in the US. A book which explains it all is The Irish Soldiers of Mexico written by Michael Hogan. The town of San Patricio here in Mexico has a lot of the history.
