This happens far more often than people actually talk about, believe it or not.

Probably the most acceptable explanation is that your brain never stops working, even when asleep, or doing other things like playing a game (it has to keep the blood flowing and air moving, doesn't it?).

It is believed that it is constantly processing information, filtering what is coming in, and what it has already, and in this processing it may have a 'projection' or 'assume' that something is going to happen. In a way, it is always working, sometimes just a little ahead of what you are doing/thinking at the time.

Then, once an event occurs that is close in concept to what your brain was 'dealing with' at that time (a person phones you, etc), it seems 'spooky' and neat that you 'thought of it just moments before'..heh.

(On a spookier note, there have been alleged experiements done in the past that have actually changed their result AFTER the information was recorded. In other words, it chaged what happened in the experiment that was just done (changed the past) neat, eh?)

Yes, I can give a list of happenings, some have been forgotten....

The best and the sorriest, I saw a specific casino machine paying out a jackpot on Friday afternoon, this was the previous Thursday evening at home when I went to bed.

The Friday I went to the casino because I was curious, as I walked up to the machine, the guy playing it just won the jackpot.

Pitty I did not arive earlier, but on the other hand I did not see me win it, it was a mere message that it was going to pay out, and it did.

Yes, sometimes I know someone has e-mailed me before I go to my in-box. I have also had feelings that someone should not park in a particular place and then later the car was hit by another car. I have had feelings that something should be done like putting something away, made a suggestion, had it ignored then something happened that was unexpected. Who knows...maybe it is intuition that I am paying attention to..........
