How about balancing the wheels. The weights used to balance the wheels in the first place were either knocked off the wheels or moved off the location they were placed on, thereby "unbalancing" the wheels. I'd get that checked and fixed pronto since such a "violent vibrating" could cause a tire blow-out at highway speed and cause quite a bit of danger for you and others on the road, as happened to me nearly 6 years ago. Also, if the wheels were bent, even a small amount, they could be causing the vibration, and the same results. Then again, there may be other problems that I have no idea about. God Bless you.

Check the u-joint underneath the van..
Ujoint is shaped like this +.
There is a long shaft thingie, A drive shaft, I think, attached to it that goes back to the rear end. Could be in two parts.. ( I can`t think of the name for it right now) both or either of these could have been bent in the accident.. It is dangerous if it is bad. It can come loose and cause all kinds of troubles.
God bless & hugs from Texas. {:-)

Front end alignment, tow alignment and if that isn't it, it's likely a twisted frame. CHeck the serial number on the vehicle for car facts or something. If it shudders a little on take-off, it may also be engine mounts but they shouldn't do that on a higher speed.

This could be all kinds of thing i would start with cheeking the drive shaft to make sure it ain't bent then check the harmonic balancer to see if it is warped then i would have my tires balanced if that ain't it then check to see if you have a bad tie rood end all of these things and cause what you said it was Dion

Wheel(s) out of balance
Driveshaft mi-aligned or out of balance
Educated guesses. There is a machine dealers have
that can isolate the vibration.
Good luck.

If a tire is going bad from the inside out, it could cause that. You cant see that from looking at it. One way to check that is to get your tires rotated. I believe the front tires would cause that to happen. If it was to be put on the back then it would stop. If it isnt the tires, then it could be your steering. Try replacing your tie rod ends.
