Stress, is a BIG factor in why your period may be late...if you are truly worried though, make an appt with your doctor. Those tests are not always correct.

The human body is still somewhat of a mystery, especially the human body. Have you just done home pregnancy tests?? or blood tests?? If you haven't done a blood test yet you might want to call your doc and have them schedule you for one. Sometimes stress can cause a missed period. Or worrying about being pregnant can make your period late too. Sometimes there really isn't a reason for being late. But I'd still call your doc...if you don't want to get pg they might put you on a birth control pill to try to regulate your periods. Best of luck.

Have you been sick lately? Have you been under a lot of stress, or changed your diet? There are a million different things that can cause you to miss a period. Sometimes you'll miss them for no reason at all. If you're really concerned you can go to a gynecologist for a more accurate pregnancy test and a quick check to see if everything's all right down south, but it's likely that nothing's wrong at all.

It could be your mood. Stress can do it almost every time. If you've gone through any changes lately... or if you've come into a new group of women. You're cycle will definately change with the women you are around. And you may also need a blood test to check for pregnancy.

Prolonged stress, hormonal imbalances, excessive exercise, an imbalanced diet (or any diet deficient in one or more of the important vitamins or minerals). There are a number of reasons. Talk to your doctor; he or she will probably be able to tell you exactly what's going on in about 5 minutes.
