You know, alot of you said that Bill Gates and Bono and others are trying to help make this world a better place, but comparatively, the money they give out is no where near as much as they could. Yeah Bill Gates is stepping down and is going to devote more time toward his foundation, but that does not mean that he is going to give up anymore of his own personal money. These people donate 1 dollar per every 100 or so that they spend on one dinner, outfit, car, house, or handbag. BIG DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now there are some out there like Angelina Jolie (even though she is an adultress....side note....MARRIED MEN ARE OFF LIMITS) whom donate 1/3 of their salary. Now that is a big deal. That shows true personal sacrifice.
Then there are other people who sit around and say that someone else should do the work to make this world a better place, mean while, they are doing nothing themselves. I don't make great money and don't have a lot to spare, I do have a little free time, so I use that time to stop and say thank you to a stranger that opened the door for me so that I could carry my daughter through the door with out letting go of my other daughter's hand. I volunteer at my child's school. I try to give stuff that I don't need to others that do need.
Ultimately, no amount of money will change the world.
I challenge you all to get out there and do something worth while.....THAT WILL MAKE A BETTER WORLD!!!!

We can all make the world a better place. Lets stop relying on the rich. Most of them won't do a thing.

Some of the very wealthy do that. That is why Bill Gates is stepping down to devote time to his foundation, which does a lot of good in the world for education and health, among other things.

they are greedy and dont want to use their money to help other people. they want to use them for themselves and take pride. people might be jealous and try to fruad them and that may cause their losses. Some may be greedy and so ambitious while some rich people actually try to make this world a better place by donating their money.

Your thoughts, as your words, are rather jumbled ... are you suggesting rich people die?
Compared to a lot of folks you (judging by the access you have to a computer) are 'rich'. Also, are you distinguishing between people who earned it and those who inherited ... if so, who are you to choose who a person leaves money to?
Not such a clear picture is it?

Many of them do. For example, Bill Gates donates the majority of his income to charity and has left most of his estate to charity in his will. Danny Thomas donated a great deal of his money to charity, and left most of his estate to charity. His daughter has carried on his good works. Many "rich" people got together and donated millions to those left in the lurch from the tsunami. Most of these people don't advertise what they do, they simply donate quietly, so you don't hear about it.

Come on, some rich people do, and some don't. You can't lump everyone together like that.
