The sun is not going to explode. It doesn't have the necessary mass for that. Instead, it will swell to a red giant in a few billion years, which is actually cooler than it is now, but much bigger, then it will shrink into a white dwarf star. In the short term, astonomicaly speaking, it's going to get hotter and make the Earth uninhabitable, but even that is several million years away.

The sun will NOT explode. It will swell in about 3 Billion years and then shrink to a dwarf. You are ok.

According to scientific research in about another 4.5 - 4.6 billion years way past our life time so there is no reason to worry about it. But since it is a massive type of star it might turn into a black hole. But the worst the people have to worry about is that it might turn into a super nova.

It's the wrong type of star. It isn't the exploding kind. It will swell up, then go cold. Or something like that. No fireworks though.
