answer 1, thanks, thats pretty good. How would you organize those topics? What else is missing? Any lists of subtopics or major details? Sub Chapter Titles?

I would do something like this:

* Similarities and differences among living organisms
(For example, the characteristics of life, cells, comparing single and multicellular organisms)
*Homeostasis in living things
(Basic biochemical processes, Feedback systems, Disease)
*Genetics
(Heredity, Genes)
*Reproduction and development
(Cell division, reproduction among organisms)
*Evolution
(Theories)
*Ecology
(Interaction between organisms and their environments, energy flow)

These are just a few ideas.
