Okay, here's the deal. I have a sore of sorts. In a delicate area. I've been to the doctor, was given antibiotics. The doc did the usual tests (all STD's, the whole nine). They all came back normal. What could it be? I am not a dirty person, and I'm in a serious, monogamous relationship. He is very clean.

It looks like a small ulcer. I have had the same one for almost 3 weeks. It HURTS. I can't have sex due to the location, peeing burns like you wouldn't believe, and the doctor just looked at me and said, "I think you have herpes," gave me some antibiotics and Lortabs, and sent me home.

Once again, they doctor did a herpes test and also blood tests and the whole nine yards. They all came back normal. I do not have herpes or any other STD's.

He was just an ER doctor. But he wasn't very bright, apparently, because the sore is still there, and the antibiotics didn't work.

you need to go to planned parenthood or see another doctor for a second opinion. you could have herpes or maybe vaginitis. you could have a few things going on all at once. you could have a uti also. you should have your significant other tested as well. you never know, by looking at someone, if they are actually telling the truth or not. he may have something and not even know it. it's just safer and smarter to get tested and make sure you get a second opinion.

here is something I thought I would throw out there were the two of you using condoms? if you were you might be allergic to the latex, trust me don't laugh because I had the same problem a few years ago and that is exactly what the problem was the doctors got me all scared that I had an STD and it was that I was allergic if it is not that I really don't know. but it is something to consider.

Was the Dr, who said he thought you had herpes and gave you antibiotics(more likely gave you antiviral such as acyclovir) and pain pills, an OB/GYN; if not, you should see one soon. This could be several things but you need to rule out cancer.

what do the sores look like, because molluscum contagiosum is common in couples who engage in skin to skin intercourse and are not considered an std. wrestlers sometimes get them too. they'll go away in time

it does not take much for a woman to become infected and because of the dampness of that area there are tonnes of bacteria that thrive there.
