Forget creams, just apply an ice cube for a few minutes and it relieves the itch and swelling.

Try some baking soda with a little water to make a paste. Then rub it on the bite.

or you can use that calamine lotion, but it is pretty messy.

oh also you can use any peppermint toothpaste. it's weird, but the peppermint will take the sting out. be sure to use paste, not gel.

i have always used aveno products for anything from bug bites to rashes. they always seemed to work
