Every person is different and they're bodies act differently to every form of birth control out.

If you're using a lubrication in addition to your ring, try not using the lubricant once or twice to see if the irritation persists. If you don't experience the irritation without, try a new lubricant. If you do experience irritation still, it may be the ring itself. At this point, I'd go talk to your doctor and explain that there may be some discomfort with the nuvaring. You may need a different type of birth control.

If you recently switched from a birth control with higher hormone doses than nuvaring, you could be getting irritation related to skin cell elasticity. I read something recently (don't remember from where) that mentioned sometimes irritation occurs because the skin cells are weaker after switching from a high hormone to a low one, making skin in the vaginal and anal area easier to tear and inflame. I had this occur with me, and even experienced something called vaginal fissures, which are paper cut like tears on different areas of the vagina. In my case, my skin had less elasticity, so when my husband and I had sex, he ripped cuts into some very uncomfortable areas.

I'm on the nuva ring. I havnt developed and irratation down there. The only thing that I have is a discharge. If it gets painful you should consider talking to your doctor. It may be a possibility that you may be allergic to the tpe of lube you are using. try using a different brand.

you would be having vaginal candidasis. this is a fungal an infection this is incredibly easy additionally easy as "yeast" an infection. you could recover from-the-counter anti fungal creams alongside with Nystatin or Clotrimazole yet i'd advise going to a physician first and rule out any STD's. you're asserting it rather is not an STD yet whether you sexually lively with purely one substantial different, you will desire to have it. So it rather is extra useful to get it appeared at first.
