To make a choice is to assume that you have said to yourself that you have a preference but could easily go either way.We know that most hetrosexual men would never say, "I could have sex with a guy.But I just decided not to."And why would they "decide" to?How can a person decide to be sexually and even emotionally aroused at something that doesn't arouse them sexually or emotionally?

"It's a sin" is also subjective to ones own beliefs and has no bearing as a strong case against anything.

And knowing what two guys do in private only says that if you're not doing it then you're spending to much time thinking about it.

Julia,(see above) for example has been brainwashed into thinking she's saving someone if she could talk them out of living a gay "lifestyle" she's doing them a favor, so of course she'll continue, because she thinks she's being good to her fellow humans by correcting their behavior to match her "correct" behavior. But Julia, if gay men are in a more dangerous lifestyle because body fluids being exchanged can be lifethreatening, wouldn't heterosexual relationships be far worse for a female than lesbian ones? Lesbian sex is far SAFER than male/female sex. I'm doing you a favor then, and suggesting you seek out a woman's company. You form a civil union, create a team to run a household, with no one dominant over the other. I'm a man, and we suck! you sisters got it going on!

The right wingers out there, saying that 9/11 happened because we have gays and feminists not following God's will, which is of course, to act just like they do. Or Fred Phelps saying God is making American soldiers die because we have SOME form of tolerance for gays. What does gayness have to do with the profit an oil company makes?

Your children, those of the less affluent Americans, are being lead to the slaughter so Halliburton can make money, and the gays are getting the blame?

YOU have to realize that these people are very fragile beings, desparately need a meaning to life, have lives that have been so miserable, they barely make it...they turn to the most dogmatic, fundamental cults to fill the pitiful holes in their spirits. And these cults, when examined, fall apart. It is a common technique to bind a group together with a common hate (not very godly, but it works, and they are marvelous at rationalization)...and today's object is a minority they think is powerless...Gays. Little to they know the real power that Gays have..political, financial..enough to break most politicians and companies. These same people cannot give reasons, only spout back what they have been told by the minister whose income depends on keepins his flock tight. The best defense is an offense. Go after this pitiful creatures with relentless logic. Their "bible" will, in time, not be enough for them to keep up the sham..

You have to separate homosexual orientation from homosexual behavior.

Then, you have to recognize that just because someone feels the urge to do something -- like gay sex -- doesn't automatically make it normal, natural, or even moral.

After all, some people have an orientation toward having sex with young children and animals. Does this make it normal?

Bottom line, if you engage in gay sex, you're doing something that the human body was simply never meant for. You're doing something that is totally unnatural.

And you're doing something that will drastically reduce your life span, especially if you're a guy having sex with other guys.

I think people are doing what they always do, stating what they think as fact. Claiming to know what they really couldn't know.

I mean as a gay man, who in the world would really volunteer to have to deal with coming out, religious intolerance, government-sanctioned discrimination, and knowing 99 percent of the time you're interested he's not.
