Gilmore Girls IS returning for its next season (7th). However, its creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, is not returning. This has some Gilmore fans worried about the new producers ability to keep the quality level up. Rumors are flying that the 7th season will be the last. Season 7 will still air Tuesdays at 7:00 CST.

Four years ago I was at Warner Bros studios on vacation and we went on the set of GIlmore GIrls. It was cool. I didn't start watching the show until then, but I like it. I think it is about to "Jump the Shark" though.

Unfortunately, they will show more of "the Gilmore Girls" as well as the "7th Heaven" on the debut of the CW.

As far as I know they are just showing reruns now. I think they discontinued showing Gilmore Girls.

I was under the impression that this was the last season, as they advertised the last show, as the finale, not the season ending show...7th Heaven was also supposed to be off the air as well, but because of the enormous ratings to the finale, I heard they are bringing it back!
