What are some fun games that you could play with the kids while you're babysitting them? What can you do that'll make them look foreward in seeing you again?

It take little bean bags and hide them all over the house for them to find (this is their favorite). Sometimes I bring a craft. You can play hide-and-go-seek, go fish, old maid, or tag (outside). Just bringing a game of toy that they don't have is a very neat thing for many kids. Always have something. I used to get videos that all of us could love to watch together... disney movies or veggie tales (if your christian) and sing along... Making a craft for their mom or dad is always fun. And there are TONS of great books that will explain how to do all kinds of fun things. Also Kids LOOOVE to cook... Weither it's cookies or dinner. They say that cooking helps kids have fun with and learn Math too. Here's a some great recipes from the food network... there are a ton of kid freindly recipes. Have fun!!!

Depends on age range that you babysit, I ask first and suggest certain games they like (no Playstation though), we play Monopoly (helps the 8 yr old learn math with money, but she doesn't know that), Uno, plant flower seeds in container, watch them grow. If you don't mind a temporarily messy room, kids love to build forts out of couch cushions to the coffee tables and blankets on top.

Twister their fav movie and if the parents will let you bake a cake or their favourite treat with them
