What are some .org or .edu site?

I need to get info on a couple authors, but i dunno some sites that can help that are from a good source

org: organization.
edu: education.

www.wikipedia.org is probably the best. Also check yahoo.com for other encyclopedia sites.

.edu is usually for universities and colleges and they'll be amazing sources cuz most of their articles are written by profs or students.
